Adele Freeman and John Applin of Balby, Doncaster exchanged their vows at the Augustinian cloister on Paradise Island. Under an elegantly draped four-post arbour, surrounded by decorative clusters of antique roses, crystals, and pearl-accented sand they became husband and wife!
Adele, a clerical coding officer and John, an IT analyst programmer, are another one of the 16 lucky couples that won the 16 Islands Wedding Invitation. Upon being told of their dream wedding arrangements, Adele said, “We are so thrilled to be finally getting married and the fact that we are going to be doing so in such a beautiful location with our closest family and friends is just amazing.”
Simply cross a road bridge from Nassau and you will, the locals say, `enter paradise’. Adele and John and their two guests stayed at Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island. Congrats to you both, may you have a long and happy marriage!
Next Monday our second last couple from the Bahamas 16 Islands Wedding Invitation competition will be featured. Teresa Maria Gilarranz Pena and Tarik Demnati of London will say "I do" at the same spot that Columbus is said to hit the New World!
